Wine Of The Month Clubs
At The Organic Wine Company, we are a lot like Chardonnay grapes. Though our spiritual home is France, we have thrived in the sunny California environment. Our family has made its living making the wines of St. Chinian at Château Bousquette, in the south of France, for over 200 years. And for the last 30 of those years, our grapes have been grown using 100 percent organic farming techniques.
In 1970, inspired by his discoveries that healthier grapes are better tasting grapes, our grandfather completely converted our 50 wine-growing acres to organic farming. Stunned at the difference in terms of color, flavor and aroma in the wines our grandfather was creating, we quickly created The Organic Wine Company. In 1972, we were the very first company to import organic wines into the United States.
We are more than just wine-shop owners, though. We are ambassadors of the entire organic movement, with roots deep in the history of wine production. If we say a wine is organic, you can trust us. And if we say it's good, you can trust us.
The founder of The Organic Wine Company, Veronique Raskin, personally selects the wines featured in each month's "Wine of the Month" collection, as well as those which are the focus of each month's spotlighted "three packs" and "six packs." Members of the "Wine of the Month" club receive carefully chosen wine selections, as well as Veronique's newsletter detailing the story of her discovery of each wine.
