Ordering Conditions

You must be twenty-one years of age to purchase wine from OWC. In submitting your order, you represent that you are at least twenty-one years old and that the person to whom delivery will be made is at least twenty-one years old. Adult signature is required for the receipt of all orders placed with OWC. If you cannot be present for the reception of your package an alternate shipping address where an adult will be able to sign for the reception of the package is the best solution.

All wines are sold in California and title passes to the buyer in California. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of California. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of wines. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your wine order. Our fulfillment house will deliver in all states where it is legal for an adult to purchase wine. Deliveries will be handled through UPS.

HI and AK require Air Freight.

Shipping and Saving

We use recycled corrugated cardboards as shipping containers or styrofoam when required by the weather conditions (extreme heat or cold temperatures). For an optimal utilization of resources please order preferably 3, 6 or 12 bottles (However 1, 2 and 4-bottle containers are also available). We reserve the right to change your order to fit into the conventional size containers.

You will get the best deal for your shipping charges with a 12-bottle order.

The shipping charges will appear on the right hand side of the Shopping Cart, including the carrier charges and a modest $6 fee per box to cover the package and handling costs.

Transit Time

Average transit times for delivery of your order range from 2 to 5 days for the Western states and from 5 to 8 days for the Eastern states. Hawaii and Alaska are by default sent by 2nd Day Air.

After you have placed your order, you will receive by email:

1. An order confirmation
2. A shipping confirmation with a tracking number and a direct link to the UPS website which allows you to follow the progression of your package through their tracking system.

There's absolutely no risk in ordering our wines. Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you're not completely happy with your order for any reason, neither are we! Bad bottle? Not what you'd hoped for? No problem: Just give us a call. We will replace, exchange or refund it! To avoid abuses we reserve the right to refund the wine bottles only and not the shipping costs.

Corks are organic products that can occasionally fail, however we take responsibility to provide you with the wine experience you deserve!

All our wines are made with grapes grown organically and certified in their country of origin by the appropriate agency. Some small producers cannot pay the extra fee now necessary to obtain the NOP (US) certification. Moreover it is essentially a duplication of efforts. In cases where it does not say so on the label we can provide the certifications pertaining to these wines if requested.
