This was a very social event held at the Paramount Studios on September 10. A couple of thousand people gathered around some delicious vegan food in the set of the Streets of New York then sat down sipping (our) Champagne to follow the presentation of a series of awards to some very deserving activists. The charming Pamela Anderson did a good job orchestrating the ballet of actors, singers, and otherwise prominent people who have been strong advocates of animals in one way or the other. Alec Baldwin, Morissey, Jamie Lee Curtis, Denis Rodman, or Anoushka Shankar (what a beauty!) were among the recipients. Bill Maher made some hilarious comments through video. We had the pleasure to meet Heather Mills McCartney and to introduce all these good people to our impressive range of vegan wines. And I tell you, they liked them! The food was fantastic, the atmosphere relaxed and cheerful and the music went on till 2 in the morning! The event was remarkably organized by Alex Bury and her team, plus an army of volunteers who made the whole event an amazing moment. Bravo to all! We need to tread lightly on the planet, disturb little, respect much, pay attention a lot, attend to little things to affect the whole. Because of that obvious connection, we are becoming more involved with PETA and in turn they are helping us raising public awareness about the option to go chemical-free when enjoying delicious wines! For incresased speed, efficiency and reliability we have had to readjust shipping charges somewhat. PA and MA are particularly affected since we need to ship through Air Freight to these states. I apologize but there are not many options available. It is in the best interest of all to order cases of 12 bottles. Not only do you get great discounts of up to 20% (if you choose among our 6 bottle samplers) but you also reach the best cost per bottle for the shipping charges.
