Guy Chaumont -- Guy Chaumont produces wines from vineyards on the Côte Chalonnaise, a low ridge in the southern part of France’s famous Burgundy region. Côte Chalonnaise now merits its own appellation to distinguish these wines from other Burgundys. Its reds are renowned for ripe fruit and drinkability compared to more tannic and concentrated reds from the areas further north around Beaune.The Chaumont eight acre estate is quite small, like many local vineyards.
