Gamay Beaujolais
Chateau de Boisfranc -- Château de Boisfranc is located on the plateau of Jarnioux in the heart of the Beaujolais region of Eastern France. Here, the Gamay grape reigns supreme. It is made into a popular "nouveau" wine each November and flown quickly to the U.S. for celebrations around Thanksgiving. In France, the region's nouveau wine traditionally was shipped to Paris bistros each fall, where it was enjoyed as a light quaffing wine to celebrate the new vintage.Gamay's ripe, sensuous fruit flavors make it an ideal nouveau wine, but it also can be made into a heartier springtime wine to enjoy for 1-2 years after bottling, when it is at its peak of freshness and flavor.Thierry Doat has taken over this estate from his father Robert. Both men began conversion to organic agriculture in 1982. Today, the estate vineyards carry the certification of Biofranc and Ecocert, two French organizations that support organic farmers.Château de Boisfranc's vines are close to 60 years old and produce less than younger vines, but . . .

Grapes are always hand picked.Remarkable Muscadet from a forward thinker of the region. A light and dry wine with pleasant acidic balance. Muscadet sur lie
Guy Bossard -- Guy Bossard is another of those winegrowers who converted to certified organic methods for health reasons, after his father became very ill from agro-chemicals. Certified since 1975, he now produces one of the best ranges of wines in the Muscadet region, organic or otherwise, from just a little over 50 acres. Grapes are always hand picked and shire horses are used to plough the oldest plots.Excellent Muscadet from one of the top producers in the region. A light, very dry wine with a slight spritz. Good intense fruit flavors from fermenting “on lees.” Its tart citrus-like acidity refreshes and pleases the palate. From the French Atlantic seacoast, it is a perfect choice for lighter meals or as an aperitif.VEGANAOC Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie; 100% Melon de BourgogneAlcohol Content: 12%AGING POTENTIAL : 2 to 3 years

Limoux
Domaine Delmas -- Domaine Delmas is produced at the property of Domaine la Batteuse, a 50 acre, family owned vineyard that has grown considerably over the past 20 years. It is located in the tiny village of Antugnac, about 45 minutes from the famous city of Carcassonne. Grape growing is the only economic resource of the village, which has just 250 inhabitants, and 4 producers. The microclimate is ideal for growing white grapes. The vines are planted on clay, calcareous slopes exposed to the south or southwest. The Domaine Delmas AOC Limoux is a handcrafted labor of love. The freshly pressed white wine is immediately put into 2-3 year old French oak barrels, where it is left in contact with the fine lees and stirred every 8 days for 12 months. The breeding on fine lees with a regular batonnage (gentle agitation of the wine, which puts the yeasts back in suspension) makes it possible to exploit all the aromatic potential of the grapes. The advantage of making the wine in oak barrels is the possibility of . . .
