Intense ruby and violet colors. Aromas of flowers and black fruits are followed by notes of fresh leather and vanilla. The well balanced palate of full, pleasant tannins ends in a long, slightly sweet finish. A successful vintage whose varietal characters are improved by the complexity of oak aging. Excellent with herb cheeses, grilled or spiced fish, veal, duck and other red meats.
